BEJSC 2008 AGM
The Swimming Section Annual General Meeting was held at in the BEJSC Main sports Centre in Bourne End on February 2nd, 2008.
It was a well attended event with a good number of children participating in the organised games in the main hall and testing their skills on the climbing wall.
There were presentations from the Chairman Peter Sones, the Head Coach Andy Ruler, the Court Garden Coach (by Peter Sones on behalf of Neil Bailey) and a first Treasurers report from Tracey Cubitt. The swimming section is a thriving portion of the club and all members were encouraged to get involved in more of the activiites associated with the swimming section as well as the Main club.
Thanks to the Climbing instructors for giving up their time to supervise the children, to Claire Donlon and helpers for organising the drinks and nibbles and to all the people who joined in the evening and made it a success.
Thanks also to those of you who volunteered to take on a new role for the club. Your time and efforts will, I know, be appreciated by the swimmers and the club as a whole.
